It wasn’t until last year that I realized how much of external validation I relied upon and how that effected how I expressed myself to strangers and people close to me.Through becoming aware of my mind, tendencies and coming back to my core values I realized what I was meant to do was give myself permission to be whoever I wanted to be. despite what the industry, capitalism, the patriarchy or other peoples opinions are about my life I know now the right to exist, the right to express and the right to share is mine. and it’s yours too.

maddi’s university. books i’ve read, want to read and currently have a spot on my shelf! knowledge belongs to everyone. as i get older i am more intrigued with idea of becoming a “free thinker” in a world filled with bias confirming algorithms. books have kept me in a place of thinking for myself. the more that i learn the better i have become at making decisions about the direction of my life. i am mainly pulled to spirituality + embodied philosophy, psychology + self development and creativity + discipline.
